Meet Your Candidates
Lenny Triem
Raised in Helena, Lenny is studying Microbiology and Music with minors in Data Science and Biochemistry. As an ASMSU Senator on Finance and Legislative Committees, he's worked to ensure effective allocation of student fee dollars and direct the priorities of ASMSU's lobbyist to champion student interests at the state legislature. He's also worked to build strong relationships between ASMSU and campus partners through his roles on the university's Research and Undergraduate Research Councils and as a liaison to The Exponent. As a previous Hall Council President of Hannon-Quads and the Julia Martin Apartments, he improved the Hannon Gym’s equipment and worked to facilitate major events like QuadStock. Outside of classes and student government, Lenny has spent much of his time as a student researcher on campus and at the NIH. On the weekends, you can find him hiking, running, or playing the cello.
Finn Growney
Finn is from Colorado Springs and is studying Financial Engineering and Industrial Engineering. He serves as an At-Large Senator for ASMSU, aids funding requests on the Finance Board, and is the student voice as a liaison to the Leadership Institute and University Facilities Planning Board. As President of the Residence Hall Association, Finn leads initiatives to enhance the student living experience for the more than 4,500 students living on campus. He is active in his fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon, serving on the programming committee, and works as an Honors Ambassador for the Honors College, helping foster academic excellence and engagement. Outside school, you can find Finn fishing, shredding the slopes at Bridger, or listening to some classics at the Bozeman Symphony!
